AM4115T-YFGW Dino-Lite EDGE

The Dino-Lite EDGE AM4115T-YFGW digital microscope is a unique handheld portable microscope that is designed for observation of orange fluorescence such as OFP (orange fluorescence protein) and red fluorescence such as RFP (red fluorescence protein). It utilizes high intensity green LEDs for its excitation light source with a 570nm emission filter. This makes it applicable for research such as visualizing small blood or lymphatic vessels of an organ in microangiography analysis.

The image quality obtained with the Dino-Lite is comparable or superior to some traditional fluorescence microscope, but much less to obtain and maintain. It is equipped with a 1.3 Megapixels sensor and utilizes a rotatable magnification dial that allows magnification up to 220X depending of working distance, a scroll lock feature for assuring desired set magnification/ focus distance, and a cable strain relief (SR) that holds the Dino-Lite and its USB Cable together for resistance from pulls and twists. There is also a white light switchable by included software for aid in focus and location. The Dino-Lite EDGE AM4115T-YFGW provides a valuable price per performance tool for researchers or users interested in observing orange to red fluorescent specimens.


 

Observe red fluorescence
Packed into Dino-Lite form factor, the AM4115T-YFGW utilizes filtered green LEDs for excitation light source with 570nm emission filter for observing orange to red fluorescence. It is beneficial for applications such as observing red blood cells with DsRed flowing in zebra fish. It also includes a white LED for non-excitation lighting to assist in locating points of interest.

High sensitivity to orange to red fluorescence
The Dino-Lite uses a high sensitivity 1.3 Megapixels sensor combined with a specially designed lens to capture faint fluorescent signals with results comparable to some traditional microscope capabilities.

Convenient flexible magnification
The Dino-Lite is capable of variable magnification with a range of 20~220x depending of working distance by simply zooming in or out with just a rotating dial.

USB 2.0 Interface
It only requires USB 2.0 to power the device so it can be connected or travel with a compatible PC/ MAC for analysis and documentation with its bundled software.
